WHAT IS IMPACT FARMING?

Impact Farming is an alternative investment model that allows you to own income-generating physical assets rather than traditional stocks or financial products.

With The Compost Kitchen, you own Earthworm Farms, which we manage on your behalf, producing vermicompost that generate revenue.

We handle all the farming operations—feeding, breeding, and selling—while you earn passive income from the sales of sustainable agricultural products.

WHY EARTHWORMS?

South Africans love their gardens and are embracing earthworm farming as a rewarding hobby and a key to organic vegetable gardening.

Vermicomposting naturally enriches soil, reduces food waste, and supports a thriving home garden. Yet, local production struggles to meet demand. Gardeners, small-scale farmers, and eco-conscious households seek organic alternatives to chemical fertilizers.

Investing in earthworm farming supports soil regeneration, cuts waste, and taps into the growing market for sustainable agriculture.

FAQs

Do I own shares in the company?

No, investing in The Compost Kitchen Impact Farming does not grant you equity or shares in the company. This model allows you to benefit from a sustainable, income-generating asset without the complexities of company ownership.

What happens after 4 years?

Over the investment term, your investment is paid back incrementally, with profits, and after the period lapses, the earthworm farm returns back to our ownership. You’ll have an option to reinvest your earnings to compound your profits.

How are the returns calculated?

Returns are based on the total revenue generated from vermicompost sales, minus operational expenses, distributed among all investors proportionally. The % of revenue is determined by us year-to-year based on operational performance.

Is this a guaranteed return?

Returns are not guaranteed as with any agricultural venture. However, we mitigate risks through diversified sales channels, expert farm management, and market-driven pricing.

Can I visit the farm?

Yes! Investors are welcome to visit The Compost Kitchen’s earthworm farms on designated visiting days to see the operation in action.
